There’s no bigger honour as a photographer than having your friends ask you to shoot their wedding. So when Michele and Kevin asked me to be part of their big day, I was honored and thrilled to take part.
Michele is someone who gets stuff done. Unsurprisingly, she organised the entire wedding by herself with a bit of help from loved ones. The stunning affair took place on the beach and featured white and blue tones throughout. Michele’s friend's daughter took care of the floral arrangements - these made for stunning bouquets and a to-die-for arch where Michele and Kevin said “I do”.
The wedding was beautiful, emotional and incredibly moving. Michele and Kevin were surrounded by their closest family and friends who beamed with joy watching these two lovebirds tie the knot. The weather was beautiful and Michele looked like a dream in her strapless wedding dress. It truly was a day to remember for everyone involved.
But true to their fun-loving personalities, Michele and Kevin’s big day was also hilarious and filled with countless funny moments. Kevin’s sisters were a riot and eveyone had a great time. Kevin even donned a diving outfit fit with flippers and goggles to remove Michele’s wedding garter! Needless to say, everyone was in hysterics and the vibes were fun and jubilant.
Kevin also crafted quite a speech for introducing the bridal party and family members that had everyone in hysterics. Keeping true to the gorgeous color theme, the bridal party wore stunning, flowy blue dresses that looked sensational on the beach and during the reception. The groomsmen looked dapper in their bowties and matching Vans.
But let’s not forget about that cake! With beautiful blue and white flowers decorated in a breathtaking pattern, the cake didn’t only look great but tasted great, too! The music was pumping and everyone had a great time bustin’ a move. It certainly wasn’t difficult getting this crew out on the dance floor!
While the party continued to roar downstairs, Michele, Kevin and I snuck upstairs to score some beautiful shots on the rooftop. I love when couples take the opportunity to break away from the crowd and get to have a quiet and intimate moment between them reflecting on their special day. It’s obvious how completely in love these two are, and capturing them laughing and having fun after such a magical day was truly a sight to see.
Michele and Kevin’s wedding day was unforgettable. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my dear friends!
